Introducing.….Little botanists will be an entry level immersive program led for children to develop more value for the botanical world. Little Botanists will be a part of our after school program at ContactPoint L5P everyday from 3:00–5:00. Transportation provided from VHE, SPARK, and Mary Lin.
There will be daily walks in nature with the little botanist, where they will learn to identify the biodiversity of the environment in a fun and engaing way. The little botanists will also engage in various learning activities such as nature experiments and workshops, skill building, and growing of different plants of the world.
There will be “home work” of course. The program will also encourage the involvement of the parents , as we would like them to learn along the way as well!
The Little botanist program will definitely be a fun way for children and adults to become “one with nature”.
Little Botanists will be led by Baba Sol. His passion for nature has led him down the path of self sustainability as well as science. Baba Sol is a farmer, ethnobotanist, teacher, and published author. Specializing public speaking, leadership, skill sharing he has been actively involved in his field on various levels.
